Project yangon

Project Yangon is an overseas community service project organised by 18 students from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), to visit Yangon, Myanmar in May each year. We aim to improve the health of the villagers in Shwe Pyi Thar through a series of initiatives.

We have a vision to grow with the communities we serve, with a primary focus on improving their health sustainably. We set out to improve attitudes towards health and address immediate health needs through health education initiatives and health clinics, thereby changing health behaviour and leaving a positive and sustainable impact on our beneficiary. We strive to be professional and compassionate in staying true to our vision.
